Fiona von Fürstenberg
Biography
Fiona von Fürstenberg, Brazilian artist of German-Italian heritage, navigates the realms of painting, sculpture, and photography. Fiona mainly draws inspiration from Brazilian folk art, and from her own photography, adding a personal and authentic dimension to her paintings and sculptures. Drawing from a palette of vibrant colours and textured layers that create a unique depth of perspective of themes deeply rooted in nature. Her creations transition between the figurative and still life, seamlessly delving into their abstraction. Fiona's art harmoniously combines diverse elements and mediums, reflecting her multicultural background, and drawing upon her own spititual journey, evoking both memory and sensation.
Von Fürstenberg will be honing her talents at the Royal College of Art where she will complete her Masters.
